Subject Matter Research

Alongside the client research I had done, I also did research into the subject matter/looked into information based on my idea. I had done this research so that I could look into the idea that I had came up with so I had ended up looking into different activism movements that have taken place online/on social media. I had looked into different articles as well as this as the articles obtained statistics that I knew I could use at one point or another within my documentary.

Pitch

I pulled together my ideas into a pitch and presented them to my peers so that I could get some feedback on what they thought of my ideas, as I wanted their feedback seeing as they were all familiar with the brief. When it comes to actually being in an industry a pitch is important as it allows a company to find investors, attract some potential co-founder or even to recruit new employees. However, essentially I did my pitch to present and fine tune my idea.

Pitch Correction

After the initial feedback I had gotten on my pitch I then went on to change my pitch according to the feedback I had gotten, adding more information such as the structure/fonts etc that I was planning on using for my documentary.
